ICE has signaled serious interest in reopening the Dublin as an immigration detention center.

We call for the permanent closure of FCI Dublin and oppose its reopening as an ICE detention center. Prior to shutdown, non-US citizens incarcerated in FCI Dublin were specifically preyed upon by staff because of their immigration status and pending deportation case. Handing over a facility known for sexual abuse to another agency with a well-documented history of abuse is a recipe for disaster.
